An erection sequence showing a 6m dome being erected in about 15 mins. Start at the top center bending and inserting the poles - pushing the tent up as you go. Always stake down firmly. This takes longer than erection itself.
These domes can be well snuggled into the environment . They can be covered in vines and other camouflage and almost "disappeared".

The 6m diam CRED tent inspired by the traditional Bedouin tent. This special emergency relief design has a central layer of heat reflective metalized film for a high level of insulation. It has been optimized for use in both hot and cold climates. This type of plastic sheeting has been developed to withstand the UV of a couple of years of African sun. Removable panels seal front in poor weather. Waterproof, robust, low weight, low cost, and, unlike traditional canvas tents - can be stored for long periods in damp conditions. A couple of "space leather" 5m diam CRED tents showing how they can be snug and enclosed or have the walls removed for shade and through drafts. The interior of these is bright mirror silver. You can feel the heat reflected right back at you. This "space leather" is completely light proof and has a 1mm layer of foam included. Side panels tie up underneath the roof and then are staked down to the ground.
